For sale: Day bed De Sede DS 80, an iconic model created in 1969 by the De Sede Design Team. Dark chocolate brown leather. Dimensions: 190 X 90 cm (approximately) Seat height: approximately 32 cm. Height with backrest: 60 cm. A sought-after collector's item, rare to find in this condition and colour. The leather is in excellent condition, which adds to its rarity. A true icon of Swiss design from the 60s/70s, the DS-80 is distinguished by its low and sleek lines, its wooden slatted structure, and its beautiful patchwork leather, characteristic of the artisanal craftsmanship of the Swiss manufacturer De Sede. Serving as a sofa, chaise longue, and day bed, the DS-80 has become a classic in design furniture. More than 50 years after its creation, it is still produced by De Sede, a testament to the timeless nature of its design. The white wooden frame can obviously be repainted in black or another colour.
