Scandinavian glass art vase known as May by Kjell Engman for Kosta Boda, 1980s

A rather large and very beautiful vintage art glass vase, known as 'May', handmade and signed by Kjell Engman for Kosta Boda, Sweden, in perfect condition. This vase is simple in shape, but still so beautiful and will be an eye-catching centrepiece. The vase is rather unusual not only for its size, but also the colour combination, with a white base and small dotted dusty pink and some green details, contrasted with a green tree. Kjell Engman is one of Scandinavia’s most talented artists and designers, and his work has become very sought after in recent years for good reason. It always has a certain quality, sleek design, and a sophisticated appearance. The vase is 23.5 cm high, 12 cm wide, and 7 cm deep. The vase has an elliptical shape.
