Art Nouveau Wall Cabinet With Mirror, Drawer and Towel Rack

Period: ca. 1900-1930 this wall cabinet is ideal for your entrance hall, bathroom, kitchen…. The mirrored door opens from the right side to reveal three shelves. The mirror is beveled and has some oxidation spots, but can still be used for admiring yourself. The drawer below the mirror is decorated with a triglyph in relief, which is a typical art nouveau style element. There is a towel rack and this is flanked by carved profiles. There are two sturdy hooks on the back for hanging. Condition: the mirror has some oxidation spots. Signs of use consistent with age, particularly stains on shelves. At the very bottom, the central carved pattern on the back is broken. The cabinet has been cleaned and polished inside and out. The brass buttons show their age (see photo). Dimensions: 69 cm high, 37.5 cm wide at top, 15 cm deep, 7 kg.
