Tripod vacher stool

Pretty stool with three legs inserted in a seat in the shape of a cut circle, a cowherd's stool: the peasant, or often the peasant for that matter, used it at the time of milking cows. Today it can be used as a stool but also as a bedside, a sofa end, or a plant holder. When it arrived in my studio, it was covered with a red paint that was starting to flake, so I decided to remove it where it was feasible with a spatula, without chemistry (but with elbow grease!) and leave it underneath (it can't be seen) and where it was embedded, nicely by the way, in the relief of the wood... In order to restore its charm and its ancient patina, while keeping a trace of its recent history, thus following the principles of wabi-sabi, simplicity, acceptance of imperfection, passage of time... It is in good general condition, stable and still solid but does not hide its age: one of the feet turns on itself, but does not dislocate, so I chose to leave it like this (see on the photo for the detail that I find "interesting" when you turn your foot). In addition to the remains of red paint, it also has various marks and traces. It is equipped with three small skates. It measures 33 cm in height and the seat measures 27.5 cm by 17.5 cm. The ground encroachment is 31 cm wide by 28 cm deep. It weighs 1.2 kg.
