Furniture designed by JC Mahey, who notably worked on the production of furniture and lighting for Hermès and Pierre Cardin in the 1970s, always paying particular attention to detail and the quality of materials. Mahey was recognised for his work with numerous awards, including the prestigious René Gabriel prize in 1977. Here is a chest of drawers featuring 3 sliding drawers. The structure is made of ivory lacquered wood, highlighted by polished brass finishes. The front of the piece includes 3 panels of slightly pink-tinted smoked mirror that capture light and create a subtle play of reflections. In very good condition considering age and use. No breaks or other damage. This piece is part of a collection that also includes a sideboard, which is also available and can complement this item for a more majestic version if space allows (see photos or in our shop).
