Danish suspension El-Light cobalt blue, 1970s

Vintage Danish suspension produced by El-Light in Denmark in the 1970s. Its sculptural design consists of several overlapping lampshades in cobalt blue lacquered metal, contrasting with their white interiors. This construction allows the light source to be concealed and reflects light between the different elements, creating a soft, warm, and largely glare-free illumination. Its intense colour and very graphic silhouette give it a beautiful presence, both when off and when lit. The lamp retains its original El-Light Denmark label. Designer unknown. Good vintage condition, with slight signs of use corresponding to its age, visible in the photos.
