Art Deco hyalite glass liqueur set by Rupel Boom

Art deco refinement and geometry for this liqueur service in opaque black hyalite-style glass, made in the 1920s/30s by the verrerie de boom, a famous belgian manufacturer. The service includes a carafe and 4 matching glasses, all decorated with hand-painted gold threads, typical of the style of the time. The contrast between the deep black and gold evokes japanese lacquers and the luxury of tableware from the roaring twenties. A rare and elegant piece, ideal for a vintage bar or an art deco collection. Very good overall condition. Well-preserved threads and no chips.
