Behind the strange name of this articulated lamp, hide the initials of its creator: jld for jean-louis domecq (1920-1983). A mechanical engineer based in the lyon region, he sought in 1949 to manufacture a lighting system ideal for the work in the workshop of workers, who then used simple walkmans.
