Trompe l'oeil secret box thujas

Beautiful box of vintage secrets in thuya wood, trompe l'oeil featuring 3 books piled up. The first book is a lid, a wooden late in front is sliding to remove and reveal the lock that is unfortunately missing (no key either) so we have a small chest consisting of the middle book. The bottom book is a secret compartment, the edge slides to the left, allowing to remove the board from the end and reveal a hidden storage. 11cm high for 15cm wide and 11cm deep. Box 5cm high, 13cm wide, 10cm deep. Secret compartment 1.5cm high, 13cm wide and 9.5cm deep. Beautiful general condition, some discreet marks of time, including missing lock and key, front slats of the 2nd book a little damaged, including one with a small shine. Some small superficial stripes on the top, discreet, as well as 2 very small chips on a rim, very little visible. Some traces of glue under the edge of the top of the 3rd book, very little visible also. About 800gr.
