Danish suspension Space Age mid-century by Lyskaer, 1970s

Vintage design. Classic slatted suspensions from the Danish manufacturer Lyskaer. Presented here in a special version with a reflective surface. The design impresses with its elegant shape featuring the different shades. These are primarily a functional detail. The offset shades direct the escaping light or protect against glare from the lamp. This lamp has been specially polished to a high gloss, reflecting the surrounding room. The light is directed straight down and also diffused indirectly by the shades. The lamp is in very good condition and shows little signs of wear. The electrical system has been professionally renovated and the surface polished to a high gloss by a craftsman.
