Reconstruction Buffet by René Gabriel

Buffet reconstruction rené gabriel: in 1944, designer rené gabriel (1890 – 1950) designed a set of furniture to be produced by cabinetmakers and carpenters throughout france to help rebuild and resettle the country and its inhabitants. This dining or living room buffet is part of this furniture set. It also bears on the back, the stamp of the craftsman who made it: mr. Antonnelli in nanterre. These models were manufactured until the end of the 40s. This rené gabriel reconstruction buffet offers a nice storage capacity, with 2 doors and 5 drawers. Only one key is present (very graphic). The buffet is entirely made of oak and in perfect condition. Its compass feet are typical of post-war modernism.
