Vintage mirror Schönform, Germany

Very beautiful vintage wall mirror edited by Schönform, model Emil. Its free, slightly asymmetrical shape and fine golden metal frame are typical of modernist design from the second half of the 20th century. A simple yet immediately recognizable line, somewhere between a barber's mirror and an XXL rearview mirror. Its tall format allows it to be installed in an entryway or bathroom, above a console, or paired with a wall of frames. The mirror retains its original Schönform label on the back – Made in W. Germany – 1109 EMIL – 80 × 40. The mirror shows marks and alterations to the silvering, notably a brownish trace in its upper part, visible in the photographs. The golden metal frame also has a nice patina.
