BAUHAUS tubular steel table by Mücke & Melder 1930's

Coffee table in tubular structure in chromed steel and pistachio green lacquered body. The table was a popular design choice from the 30s, similar to what marcel breuer designed for thonet-mundus. Since this table does not have a label, stamp or badge, it cannot be said with certainty that it comes from the thonet-mundus workshop, although it is relevant at regional level, as this table comes from Slovakia, where thonet also had a factory. The table is in excellent structural condition, but the paint has undergone some chips. The original glass (with a red sheet underneath) has been broken and has recently been replaced with a custom-cut transparent glass panel.
