Bastiano sofa by Tobia Scarpa for Knoll, 1978

Famous sofa by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, produced by Knoll. Purchased by my parents in 1978. The cushion covers have been redone - identical to the originals - in the 1990s. The sofa is in good vintage condition, showing normal signs of wear for its age, particularly at the back on the wooden structure, which explains its comparatively low price. Two tensioners are dislodged from their position but can be easily put back in place with a crowbar (see photo).
