Golden wood sun mirror, 1960

Splendid old sun mirror in carved gilded wood. Magnificent craftsmanship from around the 1960s. The wood and ice are in excellent condition. (no element is missing or damaged) The edge of the mirror has an elegant sculpted decoration. Sun mirrors in carved wood and gilded with gold leaf have decorated churches since the Renaissance. Then they were brought up to date in post-war interiors. Its shape is very chic and authentic. A beautifully sized piece that will give a nice vintage touch to a living room, entryway or bedroom.
