XL dome suspension light made of blown glass by Limburg, Germany, circa 1960.

Magnificent and rare XL pendant light. Produced in Germany around 1960 by the famous and renowned lighting company Limburg. The structure is made of metal and chrome-plated brass, very original, supporting a dome of blown moulded glass, very thick and made from a single piece, closed, ribbed, and richly detailed at its base. The total height of the light fixture is 90 cm (with the possibility of removing links to reduce it), the height of the dome is 26 cm with a lower diameter of 40 cm, and an upper diameter at the rim of 14 cm. The conical ceiling light is 6.5 cm high with a diameter of 9 cm. In perfect condition, there is just a chip, re-glued, on one of the balls at the base, which does not affect the aesthetics and is imperceptible when the light is suspended, whether it is off or on. This superb pendant light, of ultra-high quality, will undoubtedly be the centrepiece of your decor, in a large entrance or even a dressing room. It will add absolute chic to a designer kitchen above the dining area... And what can be said once it is lit!!!.
