Type 53 armchair designed by Jaroslav Šmídek. Manufactured by Ton during the 1950’s. Represents the Brussels style, which formed after the enormous success of czech design during the Expo 58 Brussels World’s Fair in 1958. Bent beechwood frame fully renovated, new seat cushioning and high quality yellow upholstery fabric. Seat height - 37 cm.
