Jean Gillon Brazilian Jacarandá Wooden 3-Seat Sofa for Woodart, Brazil, 60s

Excellent and rare Brazilian leather sofa designed with great craftsmanship by Jean Gillon for Woodart in the 1960s. The frame is made of jacaranda wood and is upholstered with a fine warm grey leather which shows a very nice patina. The wooden frame and the original leather upholstery – held together with wedges and leather straps – is in a superb condition.
