HB Quimper plate with "pearl" decoration signed by Pierre Poquet. The decoration is inspired by Breton embroidery and created using a "pear" to apply enamel dots on a coloured background. It was initiated by Pierre Poquet in the 1930s/40s. On the back of the plate, F176 for shape, D 708 for decoration, and PK for Pierre Poquet. Diameter of the plate is 23cm. In very good condition.
