Enamelled ceramic soap dish / dish - gien - vintage 1876 enameled ceramic soap dish / dish - gien - vintage 1876 cornucopia model with floral and peacock motifs. This is indeed a period production and not a later reissue. Easily dated from the brand logo under the object, and see last photo with the grid of old gien logos, outlined in blue. Old logo under the base + the number XI + the letter k I have two in my possession. One of the two has just a small hair of cooking, see photo. They were initially coasters, but nowadays, perfect as a chic and decorative soap dish. Dimensions: diameter: 11cm inner diameter of the receptacle: 7cm thickness: 1cm weight: approx. 65gr.
