Set of four chairs stamped louis XVI period

Beautiful series of louis XVI period chairs. Moulded and carved beech, medallion back. One of the four is stampedchevignyclaude. Chevigny claude - carpenter in seat. Mastery obtained on april 27, 1768: the majority of his works are louis xvi-style. Claude chevigny was established, until the revolution, on rue de cléry, where he made seats of very good quality, very neat, simple but delicately carved. The majority of his works are louis XVI style, with a medallion back, square or basket handle, with rigorous lines and tapered feet with rough grooves. 42 cm seated height, perfect stability.
