A stylish pair of danish design wall sconces, the "cubus, " exuding a vintage and retro charm. Crafted with opaline glass and black bakelite, these minimalistic sconces were meticulously made at louis poulsen & co. In copenhagen during the 1960s. They epitomize the essence of scandinavian modernism, drawing inspiration from the renowned bauhaus school. Louis poulsen, established in 1874, is a danish lighting manufacturer deeply rooted in the scandinavian design tradition, where the emphasis lies on the fusion of form and function. Renowned for their collaboration with poul henningsen on the iconic ph-lamps, louis poulsen has become synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship and timeless elegance. Both sconces bear the distinctive "lp" logo discreetly inscribed on the inside, attesting to their authenticity and rarity. Furthermore, they remain in excellent condition, a testament to their enduring quality. I have 4 lamps in total in stuck, only pictures of the 2 of them. But all in great almost mint conditon, wiht only small color differences on the white glass.
