This is a very large and tall floor mirror that once served as a door, probably for a large Art Deco piece of furniture. This is rare for such an object (circa 1940-50), especially one of such height. It is magnificent. This mirror is truly very high: 1.80 m. It could serve as a fixed cheval mirror if the term weren't a largely incorrect pleonasm. Indeed, this large mirror is beveled and the four corners are cut. The light wood frame is also elegant thanks to the discreet and thin uprights and supports for such a piece. The balance is perfect. The understated carvings on the tympanum and the bas-relief depict flowers, all simple for an exceptional effect. In a bedroom, an entryway, or even a hallway, it will provide additional depth and brightness while adding a touch of elegance to an ever more delicate decor. Everyone can then admire their reflection in it, to perfect their outfit, reassure themselves before facing outside gazes, or simply... Treat themselves! The mirror is beveled, and there are three very slight marks on the glass, proof that it has been used.
