Peruvian melie in wood and glass

Charming wooden and painted glass mirror, typical of traditional Peruvian folk art. It is made using an ancestral technique, with artisans delicately painting floral patterns on the reverse side of glass plates before assembling them onto a carved wooden structure enhanced with gilding. Hanging system on the back. Overall good condition: - the mirror is well preserved (a tiny black spot) - some signs of age on the wooden elements and the decorations under the glass (related to its age and artisanal production, which also gives it its authentic charm 🌸). External dimensions: 18/15cm Mirror dimensions: 10/7cm
