Steiner bow wood coffee table

A hot-curved ash base and a black lacquered pick top, we are in the presence of a very pretty designer piece produced by steiner in the 1950s. This tripod table from the “bow wood” series has soft and light lines, refined and very current. Remarkable pedestal table or coffee table, this vintage piece is a pretty gem! The base of the table is made of solid ash, hot-curved. The coffee table has two triangular shaped tops, called “picks”. The lower top is made of ash plywood. The color is soft and clear, protected by an original varnish. The upper top is black lacquered, its edge is beveled. The table has very light scratches from use and discoloration of the lacquer under the top, visible in the photos. However, it is in very good condition. 59cm wide and 57cm high.
