Superb small hammered copper coffee pot/pouring jug (handmade, coppersmithing), probably made between 1900 and 1925 in Auguste Dannhauer's workshop in Geneva. Baluster shape, domed hinged lid, square brass handle, triangular spout. Tinned interior (original food-grade tin). Under the base: oval hallmark with two fish head to tail and the marking “AUG. DANNHAUER / CHAUDRONNIER / GENÈVE”, as well as “3/4” (capacity approx. 0.75 L) and “1” (model reference). An authentic, decorative piece, sought after for its even hammering, warm patina, and signature. Condition: Very beautiful patina, minor signs of use consistent with age. Worn tinning at the base: suitable for decorative use as is; re-tinning recommended for food use. No major structural dents, lid and hinge are functional. Technical details: Materials: copper (body), brass (handle, spout, hinge), tin (interior). Technique: cold hammering, brazed/crimped joints, tin-plated interior. Period: c. 1900–1925.
