Spherical chrome and glass planetary floor lamp from the mid-century German space age by Doria Leuchten, 1960s.

Vintage design. Imposing floor lamp from the German manufacturer Doria. A design in chrome and glass. The large glass sphere creates a transparent volume within which is a complex arrangement of light points. Seven versions are arranged at different heights. The rods, the base, and the covers are all made of chrome. The reflective surfaces reflect the lamp's elements and amplify the light emanating from it. A particular detail is found in the execution of the flat reflective base with the fine edge. The cable is visible at the back of the base. The lamp is intended for mirror head bulbs.
