Bowl made of stoneware with volcanic glaze

Vase of slightly curved cylindrical shape, made of turned stoneware, mounted on a bare stoneware base. The decoration is particularly spectacular: a "volcanic" glaze with crater effects and a granular texture unfolds in a gradient, from beige-gold at the neck to incandescent orange and then a deep aubergine almost black at the base. The multiple blisters and cells of the glaze, typical of a high-temperature reactive glaze, create an organic relief of the most beautiful effect, evoking a solidified lava flow.
