Superb oil painting on canvas with its beautiful original frame by Fernande Hortense Cécile de Mertens, born in Brussels on May 9, 1850, and died in Marseille on January 24, 1924. A Franco-Belgian painter, the painting bears the stamp on the back from the 1887 Paris exhibition. It is in good condition, but a restoration to the hair of the beautiful, dark-haired figure should be noted. Dimensions: 82 cm x 93 cm x 10 cm deep.
