4 Alexandrite Glasses - Italy 1970s

Beautiful set consisting of 4 drinking glasses from Italy from the 1970s. They are made of alexandrite/neodymium glass. This means that a substance has been added to the glass that absorbs yellow light. In daylight or normal lighting, the object appears lilac/pink, while in cold light (e.g. Fluorescent tubes and similar) the object appears violet to light blue. 12 cm high. 7 cm diameter.
