Peill & Putzler vintage mushroom lamp in opaline glass

This charming vintage table lamp was produced by Peill & Putzler in Germany in the 1970s. It is a fine example of Mid-Century Modern lighting design. The lamp features the brand's iconic mushroom-shaped silhouette, crafted entirely from striped white opaline glass, a material renowned for its soft light diffusion and timeless elegance. The rounded dome and cylindrical base are made of the same marbled glass, featuring delicate swirling beige and white patterns. When lit, the lamp casts a warm, ambient glow that adds texture and atmosphere to any interior. It retains its original "Putzler Germany" sticker and is fitted with a brass rotary switch on the cord, typical of its era. It is in very good vintage condition, with only slight signs of age, and is fully functional.
