Baumann desk and children's chair revisited

If charlemagne had this crazy idea, to one day invent the school, it was without counting on the baumann house and its playful furniture, which accompanied generations of kids in their dreams of escape and recreation. This mythical set, consisting of a desk in which to store his math notebooks (or his little secrets) and a chair in all respects identical to the adult version, will be the best ally of parents when the dreaded time of homework comes, thanks to its cheerful and colorful tones. The desk and chair were completely sanded and then renovated. The raw beech parts were highlighted by a colorless oil. The outside of the desk is painted in blue dock of little greene and the interior in a mustard yellow of chez ressource. Its top is protected by a satin varnish. An oeko-tex certified fabric dresses the bottom, creating a beautiful effect of surprise at the opening of the desk. The chair is painted in a celadon green from ressource as well, and is protected by a satin varnish. Touches of color on the bars of the desk and the legs of the chair punctuate the whole.a note defects in the seat of the chair. Height of the latter: 37 cm.
