In Congo, the Kuba people is known for its textiles, which, by their aesthetic and their modernity, have attracted many artists such as Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse. Created from raffia fibres, these cushions textiles were woven and embroidered by hand. Their geometric patterns are carriers of a symbolic, related to the history of the ethnic groups and Congolese rituals. Each piece is unique.
