Pair of magnificent antique jars

Very heavy 19th century Dutch Delft or Portuguese style. Called "cooler pots" made of earthenware, pieces hand-painted and fired to resist the elements, the lower part of the pot would have been buried to keep the contents cool. They will add character to your interior or exterior. The 2 pots have sturdy handles, they measure 50 cm high, 30 cm wide and 17 cm deep.
