Elegant pair of 1950s armchairs attributed to Frederic Weinberg, produced in the United States during the 1950s. The chairs feature beautiful woven wicker seats and backs, integrated into a solid and sculptural black iron frame. The design is both refined and functional, with gently curved armrests and a high fan-shaped back that gives the chairs a light yet architectural presence. The heavy iron construction offers excellent stability and durability, making the chairs suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, such as a covered terrace, porch, or veranda. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The wicker is well-preserved and intact. The iron structures are solid and robust, showing some signs of wear appropriate to their age, consistent with their antiquity (see photos). No structural issues. A timeless pair that fits well in a modern 1950s interior, Hollywood Regency, or eclectic setting.
