Dutch design rosewood chairs for Awa, 1960s, set of 5

A set of 5 beautifully designed chairs by dutch manufacturer awa Meubelfabriek from almelo. Dutch design with a danish look. Marked with the retailer's sticker which says: awa garantie voor: goede construcite en goede arbeid ( guarantee of good construction and good work) This factory produced furniture of very high quality composed of solid wooden parts. Exquisitely organic, flowing lines with stunning grained solid rosewood frame. Designer unknown but they look like designs made by akerblom and louis van teeffelen. Has been re-upholstered in this current fabric some years ago. Should be great in a new fabric, leather or leatherette in any kind of color. They are very easy to re-upholster, only 4 screws. Overall good condtion, normal signs of usage. Seat height 46 cm.
