Pair of Amanta chairs by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia

The Italian furniture manufacturer C&B Italia was founded from Cesare Cassina and Piero Busnelli and taken over by Busnelli in 1973. Since then the company is called B&B Italia. The Amanta chair was designed by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia in 1966 and is one of his best known designs. This pair of two Amanta chairs in brown cord in white fiberglas shells comes in good condition. The cord in middle brown is without any damages and not faded, just one chair shows some tear and wear on the corner of the base. The fiberglas shells are without any damages and show only some small traces of use at the bottom of the backside. The white color of the fiberglas is slightly different. The chairs can be used as 2 single chairs or put together as sofa.
