Mid Century G plan Fresco Sideboard by VB Wilkins in Teak 1960s

This is a vintage G-Plan sideboard dating from the late 1960s. It is in a clean condition that was enhanced by a light but detailed refurbishment and application of teak oil and Danish oil. The cabinet was made out of exotic timers, mostly Burmese teak, by the renowned E Gomme / G-Plan factory and designed by V.B. Wilkins in 1966. The cuts were carefully chosen to accentuate the wood figuring and grain. The cabinet is fully functional with very little or almost no signs of damage or wear. Designer Victor Wilkins..
