Panthella floor lamp by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, 1970’s

A beloved Danish design lamp, this Panthella (mushroom) floor lamp by Verner Panton. The plastic lamp is 130 cm high and emits a warm, diffused light that shines both upwards and downwards. You can easily switch the lamp on and off using the push button on the base. As is often the case with editions from the 1970s, the lamp is slightly yellowed. There are also signs of wear (discoloration) under the shade near the socket. All of this is consistent with age and only adds more character to the vintage lamps from this period!
