Danish lounge chair designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen for Komfort, 1960s

Danish lounge chair designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen in the 1950s. This chair was manufactured by Komfort. The lounge chair has an oak frame with teak armrests. The upholstery is a typical Danish striped wool fabric. The seat has been restored and is therefore in very nice vintage condition. The wood has been sanded and treated with a hardwax oil, making it pleasant to the touch. The webbing has been replaced, as has the foam, while retaining the original upholstery. A crack in the wood has been expertly repaired and is barely visible (see last photos). There are also a few very small stains on the fabric that are barely noticeable.
