Sublime Peacock headboard in rattan and woven wicker, French-made from the 1970s. A true icon of 70s bohemian design, this large headboard captivates with its spectacular fan-shaped decor inspired by peacock feathers. Its elegant curved rattan structure, entirely hand-bound, creates an airy pattern of great finesse that immediately adds character to your room. Dyed in its original warm dark brown colour, it has a beautiful patina and fits perfectly in a chic bohemian, Mediterranean, Riviera, country chic, or contemporary interior. Designed for a double bed, it is perfectly suited for a 140 cm mattress and can also be installed behind a 160 cm bed for a more integrated look. Its installation is particularly simple: no drilling is necessary. It simply slides between the wall and the bed base, where it is naturally held in place by the weight of the bed. This iconic piece from the 1970s can also be repurposed: placed behind a sofa or a low sideboard, it becomes a stunning decorative panel or an elegant openwork divider. Very good condition, particularly to note on this piece: a small decorative arch is missing from the lower central part, on the right side (see photos). The finesse of its weaving and its largely open structure give it a natural flexibility. This suppleness is characteristic of large rattan creations from the 1970s and does not compromise its sturdiness under normal use. 📏 Dimensions: Height: 142 cm. Height of the front decorative foot: 50 cm. Width: 150 cm. Depth: 5 cm.
