Louis XVI walnut dressing table / vanity. Charming Louis XVI period vanity in walnut, resting on four tapered legs with simulated fluting, characteristic of the style. The top opens in three parts revealing: A retractable central mirror, Two side storage compartments, A compartmentalised interior (ideal for toiletries or sewing). The front is richly decorated with mouldings, rosettes, and sculpted motifs (garlands and foliage), with lock entries and bronze knobs. It opens with three belt drawers, one of which is wider and central. Carefully crafted at the end of the 18th century, with a beautiful original patina. Condition: good overall condition, with some light signs of use consistent with age. Material: solid mahogany and veneer. Style: Louis XVI Period: late 18th century. Dimensions: h 75 X 77 X 46.
