Modernist free-form coffee table, 1950

Small modernist coffee table or free-form side table from the 1950s. Furniture that fits into the post-war reconstruction era, reminiscent of the work of Mathieu Matégot, Jacques Hitier, and Mobilor productions. Top made of yellow Formica in the shape of a droplet, with a tubular black lacquered metal base. A rare piece in very good overall condition with very slight defects related to age and use. Please note, the top has two scratches and a few small chips in the wood on the edge. Other photos available upon request. Dimensions: L.52 X D.68.5 X H. 41.5 cm.
