Bronze Coat Rack and Wall Shelf, Vintage, Louis XV Style

Vintage bronze and brass coat rack / hat stand with a top shelf, three large pegs and four hooks, from France, circa 1960s. The frame and side supports are also bronze while the bars of the shelf, have a brass finish, with a twisted "rope" effect. This piece is both practical for hanging coats, hats or umbrellas, while featuring a very beautiful Rococo design, in the Louis XV / Napoleon III style, which also serves as a cool wall decoration. The brass top shelf is an added bonus, whether you want to use it for shoes, scarves, folded towels or even as a shelf for plants. The 3 large pegs, round in shape with a floral pattern, make it easy to hang jackets or other items. The four additional hooks are strong enough to hang hats, scarves, etc. A maker's mark, "CGR", is present on the back, as well as the words "ART20/25 Brevett" and "Serie Extra Lusso". The piece is in very good, original and vintage condition overall, with light signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, to the general structure, body, hooks (see photos) and shelf. It has only been gently cleaned respecting its original patina of time.
