Lustre Bakalowits Miracle Sputnik in brass with crystal glass rods, 1960s

Austrian radiant chandelier in mid-century space style, model Miracle, designed by Prof. Friedl Bakalowits and manufactured by his renowned company Bakalowits & Söhne in Vienna, Austria, in the 1960s. It measures 25 inches in diameter and features brass hardware consisting of seven levels of concentric brass rings mounted with different sizes of clear faceted crystal glass rods that beautifully diffuse and reflect light outward. The chandelier is in good original condition, professionally re-electrified, with a natural patina on the brass developed over the decades. Currently wired for European use (E27), with free re-electrification services available. The suspension height is 25 inches and is adjustable at no extra cost.
