Italian elegance from the 1970's. These wall sconces with their gold flake glass are ever so pretty. The glass was made by barovier & toso, one of the oldest glass makers on the island of murano. The glass sconces have a distinct leaf shape, with a curly twist on top. The glass is thick and infused with gold flakes to create a sparkling effect when the lamps are lit. Clear glass is combined with amber colored veins to increase this effect. The stem of the leaves is held by a wall bracket with a metal ring to hold the glass in place. Most importantly, the glass is in perfect condition, without chips or cracks. The lamps hold a regular e14 light bulb, 40w max. Or led.
