Delightful coat hanger in teak wood. This stunning coat rack was designed in Italy by Carlo de Carli for Fiarm during the 1960's. Originally signed on the back. The wood used by Fiarm for this pair of coat racks is outstanding, with stunning wood grains that are perfectly matched between the two stands. The rack features three round coat hangers in white abs hard-plastic, the stands when connected to each other have an extra side hanger on each side. The white circular hangers can be adjusted on these pin-shaped holes. The pattern is repeated on the sides that are folded forward. An incredibly unique and charming coat rack, perfect to complement a Mid-Century style project. Carlo de Carli was born in 1910 in Milan and became an important architect and designer in the 1940s and 1950s working with Gio Ponti. He became a passionate exponent of Italian furniture, bringing it to the international market. It has the normal traces of use, see the pictures.
