Bouquet of white flowers

Delightful little still life of white flowers with a pitcher, signed anne-marie fanet vieillard (1866-1950). An artist who regularly exhibited at the salon des artists français, of which she was a member from 1905. A clear and luminous palette that in some paintings can recall the style of maurice denis. Here the background is delicately treated in shades of beige, white and grey subtly affixed. The flowers were treated with thicker wheelbases. The pitcher is transparent, revealing the water of the vase, an element of predilection for this artist. The canvas is old: the rim has some shortcomings and the pictorial surface some cracks. It is mentioned on the reverse that the canvas was cleaned and revernie in the 1960s. I have cropped it out of personal preference but I will provide the frame present in the latest photos. The dimensions shown are without the frame.
