'Bubbles' ceiling light by Helena Tynell, vintage 70s

Small ceiling light (or wall light) 'Bubbles' by Helena Tynell (née Turpeinen in Finland) for Glashütte Limburg (Germany). 1960s/70s (Mid-Century). Iridescent glass with a gradient of amber and orange hues. Brass base. The Bubbles lights evoke soap bubbles and provide a very pleasant light. They brought Helena Tynell fame, making her one of the most influential Scandinavian designers of glasswork, alongside Tapio Wirkkala. Dimensions (W x D x H): 20 x 20 x 18 cm. The manufacturer's label is not present. In excellent condition (no defects in the glass or brass). For one E27 bulb. Items carefully packaged. Contents insurance included.
