Danish screen print framed Ole Kortzau / Grønne Studie Copenhagen 1982. The screen print is in perfect condition, only the sheet it was placed on is stained. The red lacquered metal frame has some wear. The glass (cracked) has been replaced with plexiglass. Ole Kortzau graduated as an architect from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1966. After graduating, he chose to dedicate himself to designing objects for the home, leading a successful career in creating textiles, glass objects, silverware, wallpapers, and porcelain. Kortzau was also an artist; his iconic representations of Danish landscapes are now particularly famous. The bright and sunny atmosphere of these works has permeated his textile creations, which evoke the same desire for sunshine and optimism.
